 The City of Coolidge covers only 3.25 square miles with the CUSD covering an area of 250 square miles. The district consists of Coolidge High School (9-12), San Tan Foothills High School (9-12), Heartland Ranch School (K-5), Hohokam School (6-8), Mountain Vista (6-8), San Tan Heights (K-5), and West School (K-5). There are over 4,749 pupils enrolled in the district. Our full academic program of regular and special education in grades K-12 is augmented by programs in Career and Technical Education and Alternative High School Education. In addition, the community is further served through a series of both after school and evening classes, which offer a variety of courses in both educational and other enrichment activities. The community is supportive of the district's interscholastic programs and intramural activities. As a result, the school system continues to be a major provider of employment in the area.
